Christopher Lasky, AIA
Christopher Lasky is the Founder and President of The Lasky Group, LLC providing consultation services to the real estate development industry.
Most recently, Lasky served 10 years as Vice President of Joint Ventures for The Davis Companies, a Boston based company (~$3 B equity raised) specializing in investing, developing and managing real estate for its own account and on behalf of private and institutional investors. Over his tenure, Lasky oversaw more than $ 1B in Development in markets nationwide with an asset portfolio including large residential communities, for sale townhome developments, class ‘A’ Industrial, and commercial office. During Lasky’s time with Davis, the organization grew to over $ 10B in gross asset value with over 50M sf of commercial and residential assets, including almost 13M of ground up development.
Prior to joining Davis, Lasky spent a decade as Vice President of Massaro Construction Management Services in Pittsburgh. In this role, Lasky grew the new subsidiary providing agency construction management and owner representation services to be the predominant provider of these services in the geographical market. Clients include multiple state universities, government entities (state, county and municipal), as well as public school districts throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Lasky began his career as a registered Architect for firms in Western Pennsylvania and Washington DC, as well as his own award-winning practice in Pittsburgh.
Lasky received his B. Arch from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. He serves on the American Institute of Architects Contract Documents committee and is a member of the American Arbitration Association Construction Division’s Roster of Neutrals.
